Troubleshooting
The short list of things that actually go wrong — forwarding, stale settings, calendar connections, texts — and how to fix each.
Callers reach my old voicemail, not Sí Call
Forwarding is not active on your line. Re-dial your carrier’s activation code followed by your Sí Call number (codes are in “Forwarding your number”), then test again from a different phone. With conditional forwarding your phone still rings first — let it ring out. If it still fails, confirm with your carrier that conditional call forwarding is enabled on your account.
The assistant answers with outdated settings
Settings saved in the app sync to your live assistant automatically. If a call right after a change still sounds stale, wait a minute and call again — the sync completes quickly but is not instant mid-call. Persisting stale behavior after several minutes is worth a support email.
Bookings are not landing on my calendar
- Open Connections in the app and check the calendar status.
- If it shows disconnected or errored, reconnect it — provider tokens occasionally expire and reconnecting refreshes them.
- Place a test booking by phone and confirm it appears both in the app and on the calendar itself.
Text messages are not arriving
- The recipient may have opted out — any STOP reply halts messages to that number until they text START.
- Reminders respect quiet hours (8 a.m.–9 p.m. recipient-local); a message queued overnight sends in the morning rather than immediately.
- Consent is required first: the receptionist only texts numbers whose owners agreed on a call.
Is it us or you?
We do not publish a platform status board, because we do not yet measure enough to publish one honestly. If you think the problem is on our side, email support@sicall.ai — a person reads it and can see the call trace.
Anything this page does not cover: support@sicall.ai — include your workspace name and a call time so we can find the trace.
